About the Role
As a Business Development & Proposal Associate at Praxsys Associates, your role would be to support and lead business development, proposal management, and bid coordination activities across the firm’s consulting portfolio. You will be responsible for identifying and tracking new opportunities, managing end-to-end proposal development processes, and coordinating internal teams, partners, and external experts to deliver high-quality, compliant submissions.
You will work closely with technical, finance, and operations teams to draft and compile proposal components, manage timelines and compliance requirements, support financial proposal preparation, and ensure timely submission of bids. The role also involves assembling and coordinating bid teams, engaging external consultants, supporting partnerships and consortia, and strengthening Praxsys’s business development systems and knowledge management processes.
Requirements
You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Social Sciences, International Development, or a related field from a reputable university, with 2–3 years of relevant professional experience in business development or proposal management within a consulting or advisory firm. You have a proven track record of contributing to or managing successful proposal submissions and are comfortable working across research, technical, and operational teams.
You bring strong analytical and writing skills, with the ability to synthesize evidence into clear, practical recommendations. You have experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams, engaging external consultants or partners, and managing multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment. You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and confident in client-facing and collaborative settings.
